On the 30th Anniversary of CEDAW, MADRE uses GJC legal arguments to call for US to ratify clean CEDAW

On the 30th Anniversary of the Convention on the Elimination of Discrimination against Women, MADRE quoted GJC President Janet Benshoof's article in On the Issues magazine and agreed that the current version of CEDAW is "so watered down as to actually endanger rights that women already have", promising to make a CEDAW without dangerous RUDs a priority for 2010.
